This article we will show you how to search for the serial number record that need to be updated and helps to maintain all aspects of the serialized materials in one easy to manage way. You can list serial number of record for your materials using IQ08 SAP Transaction code or follow SAP menu path.

• Following successful confirmation, the serial numbers obtain the status in the warehouse (ESTO) in the central ERP system. However, in the decentralized WMS, the serial numbers receive the status.
• This error means that the serial number which you are using is already delivered (EDEL). So you cannot use this serial number again. But if you want to use the serial number again, take the returns of the material with the return delivery. In this return delivery give this serial number. So automatically the status will be changed to ESTO(in stock).

Issue:

The status of a serial number is PIAC (Physical Inventory Active) but the Physical Inventory Process has already been finished. The status of the serial number needs to be fixed.

Solution:

First double check that there is not any active Physical Inventory Document in MI22 for the data you are trying to move. If there is any active document, post the differences for it in MI07.

If the status PIAC remains after posting the differences, then, check the report ZREPSTAT of the Note 369501.
